Professional Conversion Programmes (PCPs) are career conversion programmes targeted at Professionals, Managers, Executives and Technicians (PMETs) midcareer switchers, to undergo skills conversion and move into new occupations or sectors that have good prospects and opportunities for progression.

Since 2020, Works Applications Singapore has worked with NTUC Learning Hub and NUS-ISS in order to hire applicants through the Place-and-Train PCP programmes. To date, we have hired 4 applicants who have since made the transition to become Software Engineers.

The placement of one such hire to our company was picked up by Ms Janet Ang (Nominated Member of the Parliament of Singapore) and mentioned during the Committee of Supply 2022 debate. For more information on the story, please refer to the video on CNA’s website at 3:50.
